Cinnamon has been around for a long time. Ever since its discovery, it’s been used for many purposes including as a remedy of the common cold and food preservation. There are many well-known health benefits of cinnamon that I’ll go over with you.
Did you know? Cinnamon comes from Cinnamomum, the innermost part of tree bark.
There are two main different types of cinnamon:
- cassia cinnamon – the common type we can find almost anywhere.
- ceylon cinnamon – widely known as “true cinnamon”.
